Ludovico Mealli

Ludovico Mealli was born in Florence on March 19th 2000. At the age of five he strarts playing violin vith Boriana Nakeva (Scuola di Musica di Fiesole). He then attends Conservatorio Cherubini – Florence – teacher Massimo Nesi and in 2021 gets his violin bachelor degree Summa cum Laude and Academic Mention. Since very young, he plays for the main Theatres and Concert Associations in Florence: Teatro della Pergola, Teatro Goldoni, “Festival di pentecoste” – Badia a Passignano and Montevarchi. On October 2020, as soloist he plays Mendellsohn concert for Teatro Verdi – Florence. Since ever deeply interested in chamber music repertoire, he joins various chamber music groups and obtains several scholarships. In 2020 he plays in string quartet for “Fortissimissimo” Festival – Amici della Musica di Firenze. He had the honour of playing with A. Nannoni, A. Repetto, T. Mealli, M. Zigante, Y. Li, C. Giovaninetti, D. Rossi, S. Bernardini and A. Farulli. In 2021 he is first violin of “Orchestra Nazionale dei Conservatori” and plays at Teatro Brancaccio in Rome directed by S. Genuini for the award ceremony of the National Composition Competition “Ezio Bosso”. He plays with the following Orchestras: Toscana Classica, Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina, Orchestra Cupiditas and Orchestra Regionale Toscana. With cellist Leonardo Ascione and pianist Fabio Fornaciari he is member of the Tharsos trio. Tharsos Trio attends “Avos Quartet” Academy.
