
Maria Luna Nobile
Maria Luna Nobile is Associate Professor in Architectural and Urban Design at Umeå University, Sweden. PhD Architect in the same filed, her research focuses on the design of the contemporary city, with special attention to urban regeneration local policies, interdisciplinary and innovative practices between art and architecture and the urban commons. She is currently of the Short Term City research unit at the University of Naples Federico II and UMA representative at the UmArts research centre for Architecture, Design and the Arts at Umeå University in Northern Sweden. She is recently involved in the project UOU – UNIVERSITY of Universities, a collaborative network of 33 international Schools of Architecture on the topic of education in Architecture involving trans-disciplinary practices and scientific coordinator of the Master in Intercultural Studies in Architecture of Alicante University. She is co-founder and member of the Editorial board of UOU Scientific Journal, and she has been Editor of the first ISSUE on COMMONS.
