Born in Rome in 1999, Francesca started playing the clarinet at the age of ten. She has studied at the Conservatory Santa Cecilia in Rome under the guidance of M. Romolo Tisano, where she obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees with top marks. She then pursued her studies with Professors Gérard Schlotz, Paolo Beltramini, Gianluigi Caldarola and Aron Chiesa. She has performed as a soloist and as part of a chamber orchestra at the Auditorium Parco della Musica, Academic Hall of Santa Cecilia Conservatory, the Auditorium of La Sapienza University in Rome and at Giardino di Ninfa for Pontino Festival. As a first clarinet she has performed with several orchestras such as the Orchestra of Conservatoire de Musique de Genève, directed by M. Mirella Vedeva, the International Orchestra of Rome, and the Orchestra Notturna Clandestina, directed by M. Enrico Melozzi. Additionally, Francesca frequently collaborates with Orchestra “Città di Fiati di Ferentino”, with which she has performed during the Innsbrucker Promenadenkonzerte and during the WMC of Kerkrade. She also participated in the recording of albums with musicians such as Gabriele Mirabassi and Monaldo Braconi.
